NRF Champions Women’s Leadership in STEM at International Women’s Day 2025 Forum

The National Research Fund (NRF) proudly participated in the International Women’s Day 2025 event at Strathmore University, Nairobi, themed “Empowering Women in Leadership: Strategies for Inclusion in STEM.”

During the forum, Dr. Mwania Kioko, Deputy Director, Grants Management, NRF, joined distinguished panelists in discussing the importance of women in STEM leadership and strategies to overcome barriers to inclusivity. Key takeaways included the need for mentorship, systemic reforms, and policy interventions to foster an enabling environment for women in STEM.
